The Film Stage
Awarded the Silver Bear at the last Berlinale Festival "Ana, mon amour" is another outstanding psychological drama by Peter Netzer, one of the most interesting Romanian directors of the new wave, winner of the Golden Bear for "The Children's Position."
Ana (Diana Cavallioti) and Tom (Mircea Postelnicu) get to know the literature and quickly fall in love with each other. However, a serious test for their relationship will be the mental disorder of the girl. Can the couple deal with traumatic experiences? Will young infatuation survive the test of time? As usual, Netzer's answers will be surprising and ambiguous.
