Milla, a seriously ill teenager (magnetic Eliza Scanlen), falls in love with Moses (Toby Wallace) - a boy with problems. It changes her and her family. Parents (phenomenally played by Essie Davis and Ben Mendelsohn) will do anything for their beloved daughter, even allowing Moses to live with them. It turns out that with the first kisses in Milla, a hitherto unknown desire for life enters. Milla shows her parents, Moses and everyone else how to live when you have nothing to lose
